10 Wonderful Countries to visit in 2022

Countries to visit in 2022

These are the 10 countries to visit in 2022 if money were no object and Covid vanished instantly.

We miss going on vacations. We’re not talking about long lines at airports, bad airline cuisine, or gaudy souvenir stores. On a sweltering, rough train, we’re discussing about Asian street food, incredible wildlife encounters, and interacting with locals.

New Zealand

One of the things Covid has taught us is to act quickly. Who knows what’s going to happen next. We’ve had New Zealand on our bucket list for almost ten years and have yet to visit. We’d want to rent a camper van and go throughout this stunning country. We’ve realized how essential nature is to us during the last year. There are some breathtaking natural wonders to see in New Zealand. Mountains, lakes, and empty beaches abound in the nation. It will be the ideal place to relax and ponder.

Taiwan

Taiwan is another destination that has long been on our wish list. It is one of the few Asian countries that we have yet to visit. We’re not sure why, because it checks all of our boxes. Great food, pleasant folks, and breathtaking scenery Friends have told us that Taiwan is an excellent area to bike, so we’ll be able to burn off some of the calories we’ll be eating.

Jordan

Camping in the desert, surrounded by ancient sites, sounds like the ideal pastime right now. Jordan undoubtedly punches above its weight in terms of tourist attractions for such a small country. This is fantastic since we will be able to visit a lot of the country in a short period of time. Since I first saw Indiana Jones in the 1980s, I’ve wanted to visit Jordan. Our plan would also include a trip to the Earth’s lowest point (the Dead Sea).

Tanzania

We’ve always wanted to go on a safari, and what better destination than Tanzania to see wildlife? The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of the best sites in the world to watch animals. This is where 1.5 million wildebeests, as well as their predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas, migrate. It’s one of the most incredible natural wonders, and we’d love to see it.

Switzerland

The mountains are something we miss. Every year, we begin the year with a trip to the Alps. We honestly can’t think of a better place to get away from it all than a chalet surrounded by gorgeous peaks. Switzerland is breathtakingly beautiful. Almost every town should be featured on a postcard. We’ve both been to Switzerland, but never together, so 2021 would be an ideal year to do so.

Portugal

Karen hasn’t been to Portugal. We keep intending to go every year but never seem to get around to it. She’s itching to come see me so she can try all of the delicious things I keep raving about. When you combine magnificent cities, laid-back natives, and a rich culture, you get the perfect European vacation.

The Azores

 Countries to visit

Despite the fact that the Azores are part of Portugal, they are treated as separate destinations. These islands in the mid-Atlantic are a nature lover’s dream, and we’d love to visit them in 2021. We’d go hiking, diving, and whale watching, as well as having a lunch cooked on volcanic soil!

Canada

Canada, like New Zealand, has been at the top of our bucket list for years. The country’s natural beauty astounds us. There always seems to be a portion filmed in Canada whenever we watch a wildlife program. We’d want to take a long train ride across the country, stopping along the way to view the same sights.

Belize

The ocean is something we miss. We’re not talking about lounging on the beach; we’re talking about the real ocean. Scuba diving in Belize’s Blue Hole is a must-do. Scuba diving is an excellent way to disconnect from the outside world. God knows we could all use it right now. But Belize isn’t just about the sea. Mayan ruins and exotic jungles are also worth seeing.

Argentina

We had planned to visit Argentina this year, but the pandemic prevented us from doing so. We can’t wait to see Patagonia, Iguazu Falls, and Valle de la Luna when we visit. Then there’s Buenos Aires, which has long piqued our interest. With Tango, Red Wine, and excellent steak, it’s easy to see why we went.
